Patrick Anderson Joins EVA National Board
Patrick Anderson has been appointed to the Electric Vehicle Association's national Board of Directors, a position that caps years of grassroots work. For Anderson, co-founder of the Mustang Mach-E Club of America and Ford EV Clubs, digital content creator, and information technology veteran, it’s a position well earned.
A Community Builder from the Ground Up
The Mustang Mach-E Club of America and Ford EV Clubs grew out of a simple conviction: EV owners are better served by community than by brochures. That interest in connection, backed by real information technology expertise, gave rise to platforms that now reach thousands of Ford EV owners across the country.
Patrick has also been a central voice behind The Electric Duo, a YouTube channel and content hub aimed at making the EV transition feel approachable for everyday drivers. The channel has accumulated over 5 million views and 17,000+ comments, with Patrick personally connecting with owners and prospective buyers daily.
The Road to Our National Board
In late 2025, Patrick threw his hat into the ring for a seat on the national EVA Board of Directors. His qualifications were hard to argue with. Patrick's background spans service in the U.S. Air Force, Silicon Valley's private sector, and the US Department of Transportation. He has attended major industry conferences including ACT Expo, the EV Charging Summit, LA Automobility, Electrify Expo, and RE+, interviewing executives from charging networks and automotive manufacturers along the way. He has also helped organize EV community events across 11 states and served as an EV coach with Drive Electric Colorado.
His public service record rounds out the picture. Patrick served as a member of the Centennial, Colorado City Council and the Denver Regional Council of Governments, experience that gave him a working understanding of the policy levers that shape EV adoption at the local and regional level.
What He Brings to the Table
Patrick's value to EVA isn't theoretical. He has spent years translating complex EV technology such as charging infrastructure, vehicle-to-everything (V2X) capabilities, range anxiety, and home charging solutions into content that resonates with real people looking to make the switch to electric. That skill, rare in policy and governance circles, is exactly what an organization focused on neighbor-to-neighbor education needs.
His three-pillar framework of grassroots community, industry relationships, and government experience gives him a 360-degree view of the challenges ahead. In a political climate where EVs have become a polarizing topic, having voices on our national Board of Directors who can speak authentically to everyday drivers matters more than ever.
For the thousands of EV owners, Mach-E enthusiasts, and Electric Duo followers who have watched Patrick's journey, his seat on the EVA Board feels like a natural next chapter. The community builder has become a national leader!
