Announcing the 2026 EVA Annual Awards Winners!

Each year, the Electric Vehicle Association gathers to recognize the people and organizations who don’t just talk about the EV future, they’re building it. From the charging infrastructure keeping drivers on the road, to the lawmakers reshaping state policy, to the educators helping communities understand what's at stake, this year's honorees represent the full breadth of what it means to champion electric mobility.

Congratulations to all of this year's winners of our annual awards:

Charging Reliability Champion — Bruce Volz, DC Station

Bruce has set a high bar for what reliable public charging looks like, keeping drivers confident and infrastructure running when it matters most. He created the hub that offers 24/7 fast DC charging, EV education and consulting, and commercial spaces for lease.

Charging Reliability Champion — Greg Goff, EV Base Camp

EV Basecamp is the on-site learning center dedicated to getting more EV drivers on the road. They will help create a charging strategy for your home/work setup, and provide honest answers about range, costs, and which models fit your life.

Through EVinfo.net, Bill has become a trusted voice for EV owners and curious newcomers alike — cutting through noise with honest, practical guidance.

Champion of the Year — David Holland

Educator of the Year — Michael Hornsby

As Chief Project Development Officer for the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, Michael brings clarity and enthusiasm to EV education, helping everyday people understand the technology and opportunity that electric vehicles represent. He also created and led the state of New Jersey's electric vehicle program.

Chapter of the Year — Ohio EVA

Ohio EVA stood out this year for their exceptional member engagement, community outreach, and the energy they brought to growing the EV movement across the Buckeye State.

The Electric Vehicle Association thanks each of this year's honorees for their contributions. These awards reflect not just individual achievement, but the strength of a community working together toward a cleaner, smarter transportation future.
