National Drive Electric Month Is In Full Swing: Here's What's Happening Through the Weekend
Our celebration of Drive Electric Month (NDEM) continues this week with events hosted across the country by EVA volunteer members.
On Friday, Sept. 18, the Michigan EVA will participate in the Ann Arbor Green Fair with Michigan EVA.
Saturday September 19 is the single biggest day on the NDEM calendar with EVA chapter events including:
Albuquerque, NM: The New Mexico EVA chapter hosts an EV showcase alongside PNM's Ride and Drive at the WHEELS Museum with bilingual resources and rebate/incentive guidance.
Denver, CO: The Denver EV Council participates in the Montbello Alive Ride & Drive
Portland, ME: EVA of Maine members are heading to PoutineFest
Kalamazoo, MI: The South West Michigan chapter is hosting Drive Electric Kalamazoo
On Sunday the momentum keeps going with events including the Blue Ridge EV Club Fall EV Car Show in Asheville, NC, and the Nevada EVA chapter members will participate in Gears & Grinds in Las Vegas, NV.
What to Expect
Every EVA-hosted event is built around the same idea: come see, ask, and drive. Expect to:
Get behind the wheel at ride-and-drives featuring the latest EV models
Talk to real owners about range, charging, maintenance, and cost of ownership
Get straight answers on incentives, rebates, and home charging
See the variety: cars, trucks, motorcycles, and e-bikes, often side by side
