Nominations for the 2027 EVA Board of Directors Elections now open

The EVA is seeking individuals who can bring experience in fundraising, business, communications, nonprofit leadership, community organizing or outreach to join our Board of Directors. But just as important, we’re looking for people with ideas, energy and a willingness to contribute their experience and perspective.

Successful candidates should be ready to help guide EVA’s direction, strengthen the organization, expand its reach, and make EV education and advocacy more effective across the country.

Four directors will be elected to EVA’s eleven-member national Board. Board members help set the EVA’s direction and support the volunteers and chapters doing the work in communities across the country.

How it works: If you aren’t already an EVA member, join by October 11. Then, apply for the Board by October 30. The Nominating Committee will review applications and interview candidates November 5 and 6. Selected candidates will then be presented to the entire EVA membership via Zoom on November 19 and given a short opportunity to introduce themselves. Voting will open at the close of the Zoom meeting and then close on to all eligible EVA members November 30.
