Trump Admin Repeals California's Right to Air Quality

Just a few short weeks ago, we wrote about how the Republican congress are going against their own established rules and the Government Accounting Office to use a little-known rule to “go nuclear” and repeal California’s right to govern its air quality.  

Moments ago, President Trump signed this legislation into law.

We note that there is a lot of emphasis on State’s Rights in the current Administration, except when it can be used to appease the Oil Lobby.

The Electric Vehicle Association is proud to stand with like-minded organizations in this attempt to reverse the work on air quality that goes back in the Golden State for 50 years. The fights in the courts over this issue have only just begun.
