We don’t usually share surveys, but we’re making an exception for one of our own: Anthony Smith.

Anthony is a lifelong auto professional—nearly 30 years at General Motors—who has always chosen EVs as his personal cars. He’s a member of our Western NY Chapter, and you’ll even see him volunteering at Electrify Lewiston 2025 this September.

Now, Anthony is taking on a new challenge: earning his Doctorate in Business Administration at Temple University as he prepares to leverage his industry for academia. His dissertation research focuses on what drives EV adoption in the U.S. today—beyond the innovators and early adopters—and how state-level policies influence customer value and adoption rates.

This research matters for all of us. It can help shape smarter public policy and accelerate the transition to cleaner transportation. But Anthony needs input from real EV drivers and enthusiasts—you.
