Georgia is rapidly becoming a powerhouse in the electric vehicle industry, with significant investments in EV manufacturing and a growing interest among residents in the benefits of electric transportation. The EVA of Georgia volunteer members are poised to play a crucial role in this transformation, expanding EV education, advocacy, and engaging ride-and-drive events throughout the state.

Meet the Leadership and Vision for Georgia
The EVA of Georgia is led by Fernando Hill, a seasoned EV advocate: “I’ve been in the electrical and low voltage industry for over three decades. I’m committed to advancing sustainability as a whole, particularly electric vehicle adoption. I believe in the power of education to ignite change and innovation, and our mission is to equip a new generation of professionals with the skills necessary to lead and thrive in this dynamic field.”
“Whether through sponsorship, volunteering, or other means, support plays a crucial role in the ability to promote EV adoption. I’m eager to explore how I can collaborate to further our mutual goals and make a lasting contribution to the sustainable future of transportation and EV infrastructure." Under his guidance, the chapter plans to significantly grow its membership by fostering a welcoming and informative environment for everyone interested in EVs, from seasoned owners to those just starting their journey. They’ll be hosting a variety of events, workshops, and educational programs designed to demystify EVs, showcase the latest technologies, and connect like-minded individuals across Georgia.
The mission is clear: to empower Georgia residents, businesses, and governments to embrace the future of electric transportation. “We believe that by providing accessible information, hands-on experiences, and a strong community network, we can help more Georgians discover the cost savings, environmental benefits, and sheer joy of driving electric,” said Hill.
