Congratulations to our Charging Community Chapter Winners!

EVA partnered with Consumer Reports to gather EV drivers’ feedback. Your answers to questions about payment issues, non-working stations, and connection issues when you fuel up will help Consumer Reports report on how EV charging in your neighborhood and across the country can be improved. With over 150 members participating, we’ve helped Consumer Reports gather additional real-world data on how everyone uses and lives with their EVs. And now, the competition results are in! After weeks of friendly competition, grassroots advocacy, and a shared mission to expand charging access across the country, we have the winners of our EV Charging Community Competition.

The goal of this initiative was simple but vital: to mobilize our chapters. You answered the call, and the impact of your efforts will be felt long after the prizes are distributed. While every chapter that participated helped move the needle for electric mobility, a few stood out for their incredible recruitment efforts.

Congratulations to Our Top Chapters!

We are proud to award a total of $1,000 in prizes to the chapters that led the charge in sign-ups:

🥇 1st Place: EVolve KY

Taking the top spot with an impressive 14 sign-ups, the EVolve KY chapter proved that Kentucky is ready for the electric revolution. Their dedication to participation has earned them the grand prize of $500 to continue their amazing work in the Bluegrass State.

🥈 2nd Place: Knoxville EVA

Coming in a very close second with 12 sign-ups, Knoxville EVA showed incredible momentum. Their $250 prize is a testament to the strength of the EV community in Tennessee.

🥉 3rd Place (Tie): New Jersey & San Diego

In a thrilling finish, we have a tie for third place! Both the New Jersey and San Diego chapters brought in 10 sign-ups each. We are awarding $125 to each chapter to celebrate their hard work in two very different, but equally important, EV markets.

Why This Competition Mattered

As highlighted on our EV Charging Community page, the transition to electric vehicles depends on more than just the cars. By signing up new members and advocates, these chapters aren't just winning a contest; they are building the network required to educate the public, influence policy, and ensure that charging is accessible to everyone, everywhere.

What’s Next?

The competition may be officially closed, but the work doesn’t stop here. The momentum generated by EVolve KY, Knoxville, NJ, and SD serves as a blueprint for chapters nationwide. You can still join as an individual member and contribute.

Join the community

We want to extend a massive thank you to every chapter leader and member who participated. You are the heartbeat of the EVA, and because of you, the future of driving is looking brighter (and more electric) every day.
