Houston EVA Members Featured on ABC13 Highlighting the Affordability and Future of EVs
Houston Electric Vehicle Association members David Lowy, Dave Hanson, and Emma Hwang, were featured in a prominent news segment on ABC13 Houston.
The segment, "Experts say electric vehicles costs are going down. Here's why you should consider one," focused on a topic central to our mission: increasing the affordability and growing accessibility of EVs for all drivers.
The feature highlighted the significant progress being made in the EV market, noting that the costs of electric vehicles are now comparable to traditional gasoline-powered cars, making the switch easier than ever.

The news team interviewed drivers at a local electric-car meet-up, giving our members a chance to share their personal experience and expertise.
"I'd say these cars are very, very powerful, and people may not realize that," Lowy said.
He also offered practical advice for those new to the EV world, pointing out the value in buying a pre-owned EV: "We've seen very good offers on used (cars). It's a great way to get into it if you're just starting out."
