About Us

The number of electric vehicle owners in Snohomish County is growing rapidly followed by a sharp and steady increase in interest by people considering their first EV purchase. Since the spring of 2021, our chapter has held several EV events pairing owners of various electric vehicles with people considering their own purchase. We plan to continue these events during annual Earth Day celebrations and in coordination with National Drive Electric Week held every September.

It is an exciting time as electric vehicle choices are expanding at a historic pace. Battery efficiencies are improving along with driving ranges. Our mission is simple. We want to communicate our experience as EV owners and advocate the best practices and policies for those already driving EVs and those who want to.

We are off to a good start for our organization, but there is much more we can do. With your help, we can reach more people by helping to produce EV events, help with in-person and virtual events, and provide help with communications and administration duties. Whether you can contribute a little or serve in a leadership role, know that you are very much welcome and needed.

History is being made in Snohomish County with the electric vehicle revolution now underway. Let's make it together.
