Annual EVA Member Summit
The Annual EVA Member Summit will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Denver, Colorado. The event will feature a keynote address by Greg Winchell of the Citizens' Climate Lobby, who will explore the intersection of grassroots advocacy and EV adoption, with a focus on empowering local volunteers to drive change in an increasingly polarized landscape. An "Action-to-Impact" panel will follow, bringing together voices from Rocky Mountain Institute, the Colorado Energy Office, and the National Energy Foundation to bridge the gap between high-level policy and community-level implementation, covering topics like multifamily charging access and next-generation energy education.
The heart of the summit is a series of six interactive breakout sessions, each designed by active EVA members. Topics span legislative outreach ("Educate, Don't Advocate"), peer-driven partnership building ("Power in Partnerships"), volunteer retention and leadership sustainability ("Delegate to Elevate"), event planning best practices ("Event Excellence"), media training ("Speak with Finesse to the Press"), and inclusive membership recruitment ("The Open Tent Strategy"). Facilitated by experienced chapter leads from across the country, these sessions are designed to give attendees practical, replicable tools they can bring home to strengthen their local chapters and accelerate EV adoption in their communities.
