All new logo and new name for the Electric Vehicle Association

The Electric Auto Association is excited to announce we’ve changed our name to the Electric Vehicle Association. Our mission of more than half a century remains the same: to educate and advocate for the rapid adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).

With an ever-growing number of electric mobility options, like delivery trucks, transit buses, school buses, bicycles, and scooters, our members felt changing “Auto” to “Vehicle” more accurately represents the EV industry as we know it today.

Since 1967, this nonprofit has grown our number of chapters from 1 to 100. Our volunteer base has grown from a handful to the thousands — and we continue to grow at a faster pace than we’ve ever seen in years before. Our chapter’s advocacy for the benefits of driving electric has taken place at the local, state, and federal levels. Our volunteers are considered experts in providing information to communities across North America on how best to transition to an electric mobility future. This work alone has resulted in the exponential growth of zero-emission vehicles on our roads and interstates.

With our new Electric Vehicle Association name we will continue to advance our mission with the same passion and fervor as we have for the last 55 years.

If you are inclined to support our chapters’ work that will only increase over the next 55 years, know that all of your donation supports this EV education and outreach.
